Abstrak

Ibu bekerja merupakan kelompok yang memiliki kerentanan tinggi terhadap burnout karena harus menjalankan berbagai peran secara bersamaan, yaitu sebagai istri, ibu, dan karyawan. Berbagai faktor diduga berkaitan dengan munculnya burnout, termasuk usia dan welas asih diri. Seiring bertambahnya usia, individu menghadapi kompleksitas kehidupan yang berbeda, sementara welas asih diri diyakini dapat membantu mengurangi risiko terjadinya burnout. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara usia dan welas asih diri dengan burnout pada ibu bekerja. Sebanyak 111 ibu bekerja berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner daring dengan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia berkorelasi positif dengan welas asih diri serta berkorelasi negatif dengan beberapa dimensi burnout, yaitu exhaustion, mental distance, dan cognitive impairment. Selain itu, welas asih diri ditemukan berkorelasi negatif dengan beberapa aspek burnout, yakni exhaustion, mental distance, dan emotional impairment, yang menunjukkan perannya dalam menurunkan kecenderungan burnout pada ibu bekerja.
