Focus and Scope

Jurnal Psikologi (JPUG) accepts manuscripts based on empirical research, both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Priority is given to quantitative research, particularly multivariate studies that contribute significantly to the advancement of psychological science. In addition, the journal welcomes meta-analysis or systematic review manuscripts that demonstrate strong novelty or explore unique psychological variables.

Starting from the December 2024 edition, Jurnal Psikologi (JPUG) focuses on and prioritizes manuscripts within the following thematic areas:

  • Cyberpsychology Research
  • Psychological Studies Involving Cyberpsychology Variables
  • Social Psychology
  • Psychometrics
  • Multivariate Quantitative Research in Psychology
  • Meta-Analysis and Systematic Review in Psychology

Manuscripts from different scientific disciplines that align with the above thematic scope may also be considered, provided they meet the journal’s academic standards and relevance criteria. The implementation of this updated focus began after the publication of the June 2023 edition.
