PENGARUH ANONIMITAS TERHADAP CYBERBULLYING PADA PENGGUNAAN VOICE CHAT DI ANTARA PEMAIN GAME ONLINE

Abstract
Popularitas penggunaan voice chat dalam game tidak hanya disebabkan oleh kemudahan berkomunikasi, tetapi juga karena komunikasinya yang bersifat anonim. Hal ini memungkinkan pemain untuk dengan bebas mengekspresikan diri dalam dunia game yang terpisah dari kehidupan nyata. Namun, popularitas ini juga membuka peluang baru untuk tindakan cyberbullying. Voice chat memberikan keberanian kepada individu untuk menciptakan identitas palsu dan melakukan serangan dari balik layar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh anonimitas terhadap cyberbullying melalui voice chat di antara pemain game online. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi pada 103 pemain game online yang menggunakan voice chat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada anonimitas terhadap cyberbullying dengan nilai signifikansi 0.010 (p < 0,05) dengan besar pengaruh anonimitas sebesar 6.3% terhadap cyberbullying, sisanya sebesar 93.7% berasal dari variabel lain di luar penelitian.
