PARENTAL CAREER-RELATED BEHAVIORS DAN KEMATANGAN KARIR REMAJA

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh parental career-related behaviors (mendukung, menganggu dan kurang terlibat) terhadap kematangan karir pada remaja. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 12 SMK Muhammadiyah Salatiga jurusan tehnik instalasi listrik dan permesinan yang berjumlah 63 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan modifikasi career maturity inventory form C dan parental career-related behaviors. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sikap orang tua merupakan prediktor kematangan karir remaja. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif antara parental career-related behaviors yang mendukung dengan kematangan karir dan adanya hubungan yang negatif antara parental career-related behaviors yang menganggu, kurang terlibat dengan kematangan karir.
