DUKUNGAN ATASAN, HARGA DIRI DAN KEBUTUHAN DASAR PSIKOLOGIS KARYAWAN

Abstract
Kebutuhan dasar psikologis karyawan kerap dikesampingkan dalam proses capaian pengembangan organisasi atau perusahaan, padahal pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar psikologis karyawan ini dianggap penting bagi kinerja karyawan. Dari beberapa predisposisi yang ada, dukungan atasan sebagai faktor eksternal dan harga diri sebagai faktor internal diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap kebutuhan dasar psikologis karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur secara empiris pengaruh dukungan atasan dan harga diri terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar psikologis karyawan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 105 orang karyawan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposif. Analisis regresi berganda digunakan untuk melakukan analisis data. Temuan riset ini memperlihatkan bahwa dukungan atasan dan harga diri memiliki pengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap kebutuhan dasar karyawan. Secara lebih spesifik, pengaruh dukungan atasan sedikit lebih besar dibandingkan pengaruh harga diri.
