SELF-COMPASSION, PERSEPSI PENYAKIT, DAN KUALITAS HIDUP ORANG DENGAN HIV/AIDS (ODHA)

Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dan persepsi penyakit terhadap kualitas hidup orang dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 72 orang dengan HIV/AIDS dari Yayasan Tanpa Batas Kupang yang menjalani terapi antiretroviral selama ≥ 1 tahun dan berusia 18-60 tahun. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tiga alat ukur yaitu World Health Organization Quality of Life-HIV BREF (WHOQOL-HIV BREF), Self-Compassion Scale Short-Form (SCS-SF), dan Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (BIPQ). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi berganda. Hasil memperlihatkan hubungan simultan antara self-compassion dan persepsi penyakit terhadap kualitas hidup ODHA (R_x1x2y= 0.832; p < 0.01). Selain itu, terdapat hubungan positif antara self-compassion dengan kualitas hidup (r_x1y= 0.616; p < 0.05). Hasil lebih lanjut juga menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara persepsi penyakit dan kualitas hidup (r_x2y= 0.790; p < 0.05). Ketika ODHA memiliki self-compassion dan persepsi penyakit tinggi, maka kualitas hidup akan tinggi, begitu pula sebaliknya. Sumbangan efektif kedua variabel tersebut terhadap kualitas hidup sebesar 69.3%
