DIET RENDAH KARBOHIDRAT KETOGENIK DAN DIET RENDAH LEMAK PADAOBESITAS DAN RISIKO DISLIPIDEMIA: TINJAUAN SISTEMATIS DARI UJI COBA ACAK TERKONTROL

Abstract

Tinjauan pustaka sistematis ini membandingkan efek penurunan berat badan dan risiko dislipidemia pada kelompok diet rendah karbohidrat ketogenic (DRKK) dan diet rendah lemak (DRL). Intervensi yang diberikan dalam waktu lebih dari 12 bulan. Literatur yang digunakan adalah literatur yang menggunakan metode uji coba terkontrol secara acak yang dicari dengan sistem komputer di Pubmed, Googlescholar, dan Cochrane Library. Empat literatur dengan total subjek sebanyak 895 peserta yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan (dari tahun 2009-2018) dan di analisis. DRKK dan DRL dapat menurunkan berat badan dan menurunkan resiko dislipidemia. Kelompok DRKK terbukti mengalami penurunan berat badan yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kelompok dengan DR. Kelompok DRKK mengalami penurunan TGA, LDL  dan peningkatan HDL. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa DRKK setidaknya sama efektifnya dengan DRL dalam menurunkan berat badan dan menurunkan risiko dislipidemia. DRKK dapat direkomendasikan untuk orang gemuk dengan faktor risiko metabolik abnormal untuk tujuan penurunan berat badan. Penelitian jangka panjang DRKK tidak meningkatkan risiko terjadinya dislipidemia.
