Author Guidelines

Jurnal Kajian Akuntansi, Auditing dan Perpajakan (JKAAP)

JKAAP provides the following author guidelines. Authors are required to carefully follow the official JKAAP Template (2024) before submitting their manuscript.

1. General Information

  • Manuscript must be written in English.
  • Total length: minimum 8 pages and maximum 15 pages, including the abstract.
  • Manuscript must use Constantia font.
  • Main text: Constantia 12 pt, single spacing.
  • Abstract and table content: Constantia 11 pt.

2. Title and Author Information

Title

  • Maximum 15 words.
  • Written in English.
  • Centered, Constantia 14 pt, bold.
  • Clear, concise, and reflects the research content.

Author(s) Information

  • Full name without academic titles and without abbreviations.
  • Constantia 12 pt, bold.
  • Include institution name, faculty, and study program.
  • Provide the full institutional address.
  • Email address must be provided.
  • Corresponding author must be clearly indicated using (*).

3. Abstract and Keywords

Abstract

  • Written in both Indonesian and English.
  • 150–200 words.
  • Constantia 11 pt, single-spaced.
  • Presented in one paragraph.
  • Must contain research importance, objectives, methods, results, and significance of findings.

Keywords

  • Maximum 5 keywords.
  • Separated by commas.
  • Must reflect the article and journal scope.
  • Constantia 11 pt, single spacing.

4. Introduction

  • Heading: Constantia 12 pt, bold.
  • Single spacing with first-line indentation of 1 cm.
  • Maximum 8 paragraphs.
  • Contains background, research context, literature review, and research objectives.
  • The opening paragraph should explain the state of the art.
  • The research gap and novelty must be clearly stated.
  • The closing paragraph should present the research objectives.
  • Citations must follow APA style; references from the last 5 years are preferred.
  • Only one supporting table or figure is allowed in this section.
  • No sub-subsections are allowed.

5. Research Methods

  • Constantia 12 pt, single spacing.
  • Clearly describe the research design.
  • Explain the research location and participants or documents.
  • Describe data collection procedures.
  • Explain data analysis techniques.
  • Subheadings may be used when necessary.

6. Results and Discussion

  • Constantia 12 pt, single spacing.
  • Results and discussion must be presented together.
  • Do not use "Results" and "Discussion" as separate subchapter titles.
  • Analysis must address the research questions.
  • Findings must be interpreted using relevant theories and recent references.
  • This section should cover approximately 50–70% of the article.

Tables

  • Tables must be created using the MS Word table feature, not images.
  • Do not use vertical lines.
  • Use centered alignment where appropriate.
  • Table title is placed above the table.
  • Source is placed below the table and centered.
  • Table content: Constantia 11 pt.

Figures

  • Figure title and source are placed below the figure and centered.
  • High-resolution images are recommended.

7. Conclusion

  • Constantia 12 pt, single spacing.
  • Must answer the research objectives.
  • Summarizes the main findings and discussion.
  • Highlights the contribution and advantages of the study.
  • Written in 2 paragraphs.

8. References

  • Use Mendeley Reference Manager.
  • Follow APA (American Psychological Association) style.
  • Minimum 15 references.
  • References published within the last 10 years are preferred.
  • All references must be cited in the manuscript.
  • Primary sources such as reputable journal articles, books, theses, and dissertations are prioritized.
  • References must be arranged alphabetically.

9. Important Notes

  • Manuscript must follow the official JKAAP Template (2024).
  • Submission file must be in MS Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Formatting must strictly follow the Constantia font requirements.
  • Manuscripts that do not comply with the template may be returned for revision.
