Publication Ethics

Jurnal Darma Saskara only accepts original research articles and theoretical studies that have not been published elsewhere and are not currently under review in other journals. Jurnal Darma Saskara is committed to upholding ethical standards at all stages of the publication process. These ethical standards are adapted from the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

All submitted manuscripts will undergo an objective review process. The editorial office may use Turnitin or other plagiarism detection software to examine similarities between submitted manuscripts and existing literature.

Ethics for Editors

  • Editors are responsible for maintaining the academic quality of the articles received and published.
  • Editors guide reviewers and authors throughout the editorial process.
  • Editors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of peer reviewers.
  • Editors adhere to the principles of fairness and non-discrimination toward all submitted manuscripts.
  • Editors must prepare and enforce guidelines for all members of the editorial board.
  • Editors avoid conflicts of interest involving all stakeholders during the publishing process.

Ethics for Authors

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are free from plagiarism, copyright infringement, or other violations of intellectual property rights.
  • Authors must ensure that the manuscript is not being considered or accepted for publication in another journal.
  • The listed authors must accurately reflect those who contributed to the research and/or writing of the article.
  • All authors must approve the submission of the manuscript to Jurnal Darma Saskara and authorize the corresponding author to sign the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) form.
  • If a significant error is discovered after publication, the author must promptly notify the editor or publisher for further action.

Ethics for Reviewers

  • Reviewers must act objectively, independently, and professionally in evaluating manuscripts.
  • Reviewers provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript.
  • Reviewers must immediately inform the editor if there is any indication of plagiarism or ethical misconduct.
  • During the review process, reviewers must maintain confidentiality and avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts in accordance with the guidelines and standards of Jurnal Darma Saskara.
