Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu menguji peran fleksibilitas psikologis sebagai mediator antara persepsi terhadap penyakit dan kepuasan hidup. Penelitian ini melibatkan 140 orang pasien diabetes. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu PROCESS MACRO untuk regresi sederhana yang melibatkan satu variabel mediator. Analisis menunjukkan hasil bahwa fleksibilitas psikologis dapat memediasi hubungan persepsi terhadap penyakit dan kepuasan hidup. Adanya fleksibilitas yang baik akan meningkatkan persepsi positif terhadap penyakit menyebabkan pasien diabetes dapat menerima kondisinya dan berfungsi dalam kehidupan yang mendukung kepuasan hidup yang tinggi.
