KONTROL DIRI DAN PERILAKU CYBERSEX PADA PENGGUNA AKUN ALTER

Abstract

Akun alter merupakan sebuah akun yang menggunakan identitas dan perilaku yang berbeda dari penggunanya. Kehadiran akun alter di media sosial membuat para penggunanya dapat mengungkapkan sisi lain dari dirinya, namun banyak yang mengekspresikannya hal-hal negatif seperti tindakan pengguna akun alter yang bersifat erotis, seperti cerita-cerita seksual, postingan foto-foto bagian tubuh yang intim, pelayanan jasa seksual mulai dari chat sex, phone sex, video sex, bahkan ajakan untuk melakukan hubungan badan secara langsung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan kontrol diri dan perilaku cybersex pada pengguna akun media sosial alter. Penelitian ini melibatkan 220 responden (200 pria dan 20 wanita), berusia 20-40 tahun, aktif mengakses materi seksual dan melakukan aktivitas seksual di internet dengan intensitas waktu 11 jam atau lebih per minggu. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian membuktikan terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara kontrol diri dan perilaku cybersex pada pengguna akun alter, di mana semakin rendah kontrol diri, maka semakin tinggi perilaku cybersex pada pengguna media sosial akun alter. Begitupun sebaliknya, semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka semakin rendah perilaku cybersex pada pengguna media sosial akun alter. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa perilaku cybersex berada pada kategori tinggi dan kontrol diri berada pada kategori rendah.
