PERAN ADIKSI INSTAGRAM FEED DAN ADIKSI INSTAGRAM STORY TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN SUBJEKTIF MAHASISWA

Abstract

Instagram adalah salah satu media sosial yang populer di kalangan mahasiswa saat ini. Penggunaan Instagram yang berlebihan dapat memunculkan perilaku adiksi. Adiksi Instagram memiliki dampak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan subjektif mahasiswa. Adiksi Instagram terdiri dari adiksi Instagram Feed dan adiksi Instagram Story. Belum banyak penelitian spesifik mengenai adiksi Instagram Feed dan adiksi Instagram Story serta hubungannya dengan kesejahteraan subjektif mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara adiksi Instagram Feed dan adiksi Instagram Story dengan kesejahteraan subjektif pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif non-eksperimental dengan metode korelasional. Populasi yang diambil adalah mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Padjadjaran tingkat dua hingga tingkat empat dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel acak berstrata dengan jumlah responden 82 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah adiksi Instagram Feed Scale, Instagram Story Addiction Scale, Satisfaction with Life Scale, dan Scale of Positive and Negative Experience. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner secara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara adiksi Instagram Feed dengan kesejahteraan subjektif pada mahasiswa yang memiliki kecenderungan adiksi Instagram Feed.
