Sistem Pembuatan KTM di PSM Kalimalang Universitas Gunadarma

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk mempercepat mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan KTM baru atau penggantinya dengan cara membuat sistem dan Meringankan beban tugas staf di PSMA Kampus E (Pusat) karena proses pembuatan KTM untuk mahasiswa Kampus J (Kalimalang, Bekasi dan sekitarnya) dapat dilaksanakan di PSMA Kampus J. Pembuatan sistem KTM ini menggunakan metode Waterfall dan membuat rancangan sistem yang digambarkan dengan data flow diagram (DFD) dan entity relationship diagram (ERD) digunakan untuk mengetahui keterkaitan dan keterhubungan dari setiap data store yang terbentuk di DFD dan normalisasi data digunakan untuk meniadakan kerangkapan dan keefektifan penggunaan atribut di setiap data store. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menghemat waktu tunggu mahasiswa dalam pengurusan pencetakan KTM baru atau KTM pengganti yang proses sebelumnya bisa membutuhkan waktu selama 14 hari dan Mempermudah tugas staf  PSMA dalam melayani mahasiwa dalam proses pembuatan KTM baru atau KTM pengganti.

The purposes of the reserach is to expedite the process of distributing the new or the substitute student identity card (KTM) by making a system and to ease the staff of the PSMA of E campus (center), for the process of producting the KTM for the students in J campus (Kalimalang, Bekasi, and surrounding areas) can be executed in PSMA of J campus. The production system of the KTM uses Waterfall method and the system design pictured by data flow diagram (DFD), and entity relationship diagram (ERD) is used for observing the relevance and the relation of each data store pictured in DFD, and data normalization is used to eliminate multitudinousness and for the attribute effectivity of each data store. The results of the research are to save the student’s time in the process of printing the new or the substitute KTM which is previously can take about 14 days, and to ease the staff of the PSMA in serving the students in the process of distributing the new or the substitute KTM.
