Abstract

Mahasiswa penerima beasiswa memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memiliki prestasi akademik yang baik. Dengan demikian mahasiswa penerima beasiswa berusaha belajar dengan giat agar nilai prestasi akademiknya atau nilai IPKnya tidak mengalami penurunan. Tiap mahasiswa penerima beasiswa memiliki caranya sendiri untuk mendapatkan nilai yang memuaskan, salah satu tindakan atau upaya yang dilakukan adalah melakukan kecurangan akademik untuk mencapai nilai yang memuaskan. Tindakan tersebut dilakukan demi melindungi beasiswanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji seberapa besar kontribusi Self-efficacy terhadap Kecurangan Akademik pada Mahaiswa Penerima Beasiswa. Responden penelitian ini 199 responden  dengan mengggunakan skala Self-Efficacy dan skala kecurangan akademik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik snowball  sampling. Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana. Hasil membuktikan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini diterima yaitu terdapat kontribusi Self-efficacy terhadap kecurangan akademik pada mahasiswa penerima beasiswa.. Hasil uji regresi diperoleh nilai R square sebesar 0,006, artinya sebanyak 6% self-efficacy memengaruhi kecurangan akademik pada mahasiwa penerima beasiswa. Self-efficacy dan kecurangan akademik pada penelitian ini berada pada kategori tinggi dan sedang.
