ANALISIS FAKTOR KELUARGA, MINAT DAN BAKAT BERBISNIS BIDANG KECANTIKAN PADA MAHASISWA PENGELOLAAN USAHA TATA RIAS

Abstract

Pendidikan dan bisnis merupakan dua hal yang berbeda. Namun demikian, pada era digitalisasi, kemampuan berbisnis menjadi salah satu yang penting dalam kurikulum Pendidikan Tinggi untuk menanggulangi lapangan pekerjaan yang semakin sedikit, sehingga dapat mengurangi jumlah pengangguran berpendidikan. Bisnis yang sukses berasal dari multi-faktor, diantaranya stimulasi dalam pendidikan, keluarga, minat, dan bakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji faktor keluarga, keinginan mahasiswa, dan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam pengelolaan usaha kecantikan dan tata rias. Desain penelitian berupa metode kualitatif single case study, melibatkan 58 orang mahasiswa kelas Pengelolaan Usaha Tata Rias. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan; (a) Keluarga menjadi tujuan dan sumber utama alasan mahasiswa melakukan bisnis, 54% orangtua mahasiswa ialah pelaku bisnis, (b) Mahasiswa memiliki minat yang tinggi, yakni 71% mahasiswa di kelas Pengelolaan Usaha Tata Rias berminat untuk melakukan bisnis umum yang bukan terbatas pada bisnis kecantikan dan tata rias, (c) 100% mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan bidang kecantikan dan tata rias, dengan 66% mahasiswa pernah berbisnis bidang kecantikan dan tata rias.
