STUDI AWAL POLA SPASIAL PERMUKIMAN DI KOTA LAMA KUDUS STUDI KASUS : DESA DEMANGAN

Abstract

Rumah Kudus sebagai wujud dari arsitektur tradisional, mempunyai keunikan dan
spesifikasi tersendiri. Rumah Kudus memiliki taksonomi ruang dalam rumah baik yang
tradisional maupun yang baru, memiliki keterkaitan dengan sejarah dan latar belakang
sejarah Kudus secara keseluruhan. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perwujudan
arsitektur rumah tinggal tersebut antara lain: faktor sosial budaya, iklim, teknologi,
ekonomi, struktur sosial, pengaruh geografis, religi, sejarah dan bahan bangunan.
Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola spasial permukiman, menemukan
ruang-ruang yang selalu ada pada rumah serta mendapatkan gambaran tentang
taksonomi ruang pada rumah lama dan rumah baru di Kota Lama Kudus. Metode yang
dipergunakan adalah paradigma naturalistik kualitatif sebagai paradigma dasar untuk
melihat kawasan Kota Lama Kudus dan permukimannya. Produk yang dihasilkan dapat
diketahui pola spasial permukiman dan mendapatkan gambaran tentang taksonomi
ruang pada rumah lama dan rumah baru di Kota Lama Kudus.

Abstract
Kudus house as a form of traditional architecture, unique and has its own
specifications. Kudus house has a taxonomy of space in both houses of traditional and
new, have relevance to the history and background on the whole history of the Kudus.
Factors that affect the realization of residential architecture include: socio-cultural
factors, climate, technology, economics, social structure, the influence of geographical,
religious, historical and building materials. So this study aims to determine spatial
patterns of settlement, to find spaces that are always there at home and get a picture of
the taxonomy of spaces in old houses and new homes in the Old City of the Kudus. The
method used was a qualitative naturalistic paradigm as the basic paradigm to see the
Old Town area and the settlements Kudus. The resulting product can be identified
spatial patterns of settlement and get a picture of the taxonomy of spaces in old houses
and new homes in the Old City Kudus.
